The Blur Primer has been a fan favorite for over a decade. It’s pore blurring, skin smoothing properties make it the perfect a poreless face base.
WHAT IS A PRIMER, WHAT DOES IT DO?
A primer prepares the skin so it’s an ideal canvas for makeup application - whether it’s Original Glow BB Foundie or Loose Mineral Foundation or Cream To Powder Concealer. It fills in the tiny creases, large pores, flaky skin patches and rough textures to create a smooth surface for your makeup. This means your foundation or concealer won’t settle into creases, stick to dry patches or cake up.
In particular, Blur Primer softens the appearance of pores. It contains mica. It’s shimmering properties allow it to reflect light from the face, creating the illusion of a smoother, softer, and more radiant skin tone.
HOW TO APPLY PRIMER: PORELESS PERFECTION IN 3 EASY STEPS
Here are the basics:
Let’s get into more detail.
The best time to apply primer is after your last skincare step (moisturizer and/or SPF) and before makeup. Dispense half-a-pea size amount of product and spread evenly onto face. Using too much product will result in pilling (soft ball).
We recommend using fingers to apply primer, as it's the easiest way to blend everything and get a seamless finish. You can also use a damp sponge.
Let the primer dry and set before layering makeup. Applying foundation too early will result in a patchy face base.
When applying foundation, stipple foundation into the skin with a brush or sponge. A patting motion that pushes product into the skin is best. Rubbing or dragging can result in pilling.
BEYOND PRIMING FOR MAKEUP, PRIMER EXTENDS YOUR SKINCARE
More than just a primer, Blur Primer is your daytime skincare. It’s enriched with allantoin, a powerful botanical active that soothes and protects your skin. Over time, allantoin also minimizes the appearance of pimple scars and fine lines! It also provides hydration, stimulates collagen production, and helps skin heal.
